About Me
Training and Background
I have been practicing in San Francisco professionally for nine years. I studied Korean Acupressure for three years at the College of Traditional Korean Healing Arts, with Master Hee Suk Yoo, whose family practice dates back 500 years. Early in life I discovered that I had a gift for intuitive touch and a natural desire to help people. I have been practicing massage as an amateur since high school. For over ten years I have studied martial arts and I currently practice Yin Style Bagua. I also have a background in dance and practice Buddhist meditation. My goal is to bring harmony and healing to people through my work.
A Holistic Approach to Health
Creating vibrant dynamic health is a continual process. Massage can be an integral part of re-connecting with yourself and your body's natural healing ability. Most of us experience pain, stiffness, and also illness at times; and most of us have some chronic physical weaknesses, even if we have a great diet and exercise regimen. Receiving regular massage can help create a lasting pattern of relaxed, flowing energy and movement. When our bodies are relaxed and free of pain, we are able to feel happy, make better choices, do better work, and give better attention to everyone we care about. I believe each person leads their own healing. My job is to assist that process by stimulating rejuvenating points, doing passive stretches, and teaching properly aligned posture.
